Chris Sheridan's show Shadows, Persona, and Trickery takes an in-depth look at magic and religion, their symbolism and ritual, how they played a role in building our early societies, and the disconnect between these theories and beliefs and contemporary modes of thinking. Deeply psychological, laced with multiple layers of meaning and references to the trickster archetype, the work also explores the manipulative quality found in us all. Also hidden in the work is the artist's search for the soul, which he believes is the construct that holds all of these ideas together in our collective unconscious.

Musical Performance by Ghosts of Handsome Skin

bellflur 2
Hello, we are bellflur and we are working with various artists on a project called the Ghosts of Handsome Skin.  We try to incorporate many elements into our live set up as we can in order to create a sound that is a close approximation to listening to music on a nice stereo or set of headphones.  We enjoy loud and quiet movements equally and like to sprawl out as much as the circumstances allow us.  We have played together in various lineups for many years now and from our different show experiences and individual influences musically and otherwise, we try to present a show that is a mixture of musical and visual elements.  To see and hear more please visit bellflur.com
