Dr. Sketchy's is the chain of burlesque-infused life-drawing sessions

dream of a "decadent" art class with fair pay and respect for the
models and boozy fun for all.
Charm City's own branch will present a night of drawing and debauchery
featuring D.C. burlesque beauties Sugar Ann Spice and L'il Dutch as our
muses for the evening! Join in some seriously silly drawing contests to
win prizes! At Dr. Sketchy's, we don't care if you picked up a pad
yesterday or 50 years ago--come to drink or to draw. We recommend
bringing your own sketch materials, but limited drawing supplies will
be on hand for the curious.

coast (Los Angeles, CA) for 11 years, Meghan aka “dj meegs”, has

Jesse Winch, of Celtic Thunder touted as the world’s premiere bodhran
player. She was also enrolled in the O’Neil James School of Irish Dance

One Love Entertainment Presents:
Dj Set by 16 Large
Event hours: 7-10 p.m.
Free
Utilizing thick beats and heavy synth lines, this DC area based duo
bring a unique noise to dance floors and earbuds alike. There may be a
bit of a retro feel to their music, but have no doubt: This is a modern
sound. While being influenced by pop dance hits, 16 Large is not
obligated to follow that formulaic structure. Much of their music has a
rock and roll sensibilty. Flashy … fun … and in your face. The aim is
to make grand and dramatic music that is still highly relatable. 16
Large is getting ready to release their first EP in 2010. The
self-produced 5 track EP shows what one could expect from their live
act. The hooks are catchy. The grooves are deep. And the sound is big.

Musical Performance by Curtain Call
7-8pm
Free
Curtain Call began in 2009 when guitarist Mike Recachinas and singer
Benedict Wagstaff realized they had talked too much and played too
little. The band developed greatly and took its current shape in early
2010. As a group of experienced local musicians the band hopes they can
unite and find their place on the DMV music scene. They take
inspiration from all sorts of artists including the Red Hot Chili
Peppers, the Kooks, the Arctic Monkeys, OAR, Muse, John Mayer and the
Disco Biscuits. Someday they hope that they like all those they look up
to can find their own niche in the constantly developing genre of rock
music. Curtain Call has been a journey, construction phase is over and
now it's time to for us to get out and play and learn in the process.

Musical Performance by Power Pirate
9pm-10pm
Free
Power Pirate is a three-piece electronic rock band from Washington D.C.
formed in the fall of 2007 by Emily Pakulski (guitar & vocals),
Michael Garate (keyboards), and Annika Monari (drums). Annika and Emily
hosted an informal session to meet new musicians. Among them was Mike,
who stayed with the two with the goal of creating music with a fusion
of innovation and traditional musical theory.
Since then, Power Pirate has found its place in the DC/MD/VA music
scene through catchy melodies and complex instrumentation. Inspired by
modern artists such as Muse, Infected Mushroom, and Daft Punk, this
trio fuses 80s-styled techno synths with hard-rock drum beats and
guitar riffs to create the new, uncategorized genre unique to Power
Pirate.

Musical Performance by Ivy Rose
10pm-11pm
Free
Formed in July 2009, Ivy Rose is made up of Martina San Diego on lead
vocals and rhythm guitar, Sarah De Leon on lead guitar, Isabelle De
Leon on drums, and Kristine De Leon on bass. What inspired their music?
Perhaps it was their attendance of the 2009 Vans Warped Tour...or, just
like the story that is continually told, a hummingbird flying by on a
summer day invoked the muse in all of them. Nonetheless, contributing
each of their talents and creative ingenuity, they establish a sweet
rock sound that sometimes takes a darker edge. Their influences? There
are many, such as The Cranberries, Meg & Dia, and Vedera, who
inspire their sound, but others such as Muse, The Cure, and Hotspur who
inspire them to make music. In addition, each member also has her own
influences who inspire her as a musician. Coming together one memorable
summer day, who would've thought they could finish their debut album
"This Adventure" so fast? In their free time, they enjoy going to
concerts, making skirts, eating, and being with friends and family.

DJ Lil'e on the Wheels of Steel
for the Closing reception Saturday
8pm-Midnight
Free
Black Cats Resident DJ Lil'e, aka Erin Myers, specializes in rare
extended mixes and one-hit wonders whose names have been swallowed by
time. Remember Flesh for Lulu, Kon Kan or Anything Box? But Lil'e does
not sacrifice a solid dance floor just to showcase her extensive record
collection.
Lil'e, 32, who started "Right Round" in 2002, focuses on skillful
mixing, but she still finds a few moments of each song to step back
from her mixer and do a little dancing herself. When she plays at other
venues such as Felix or Saint-Ex, Lil'e strays far from the '80s,
breaking out underground hip-hop, big beat and assorted electronica.
